Etsy Wednesday, London Edition

Bad, bad Rachael. I forgot to share my London-inspired Etsy finds last week! I may not be in England anymore, but here are five items that would surely make anyone feel a wee bit British...

These dainty vintage pine cone teacups would certainly do
for an afternoon spot of tea.

Here's a little something for the gents: a jaunty houndstooth scarf
from London-based Etsy shop Odds and Sods (this item sold out
already, but maybe they will make more!).

This clever photo of a map of Southern England utilizes a shallow depth-of-field
to draw your attention to the country's capital.

Go ahead and be cheeky with this canvas tote featuring a
screen-printed likeness of Queen Elizabeth.

Everyone knows that it rains in London. Keep dry
with this vintage London Fog raincoat
.

Coming next week...Etsy picks with a French flair!

  1. My son Jim & daughter-in-law Lisa were talking agout those scarves just the other night! They just got back from NYC & said everyone was wearing them -- apparently inspired by Arabic culture. I said I'd have to see one, but wondered how I'd look in one. I like cold weather & winter gear (as you know).

  2. Scarves are quite popular here in Paris, as well...not exactly like the one here, but somewhat similar. I saw a group of four friends all wearing them today. Not exactly the way to make a fashion statement if everyone is wearing the same thing!
